Machine meshcore 0.8.35
Profiles store the machine, how to send a print job, and (for CNC) the work envelope. Access codes and API keys never go in your account — they stay in the local meshcore helper (or this browser for OctoPrint).

No printers yet. Click Add printer to scan your network or enter the IP, serial, and how to send jobs.
Add printer
Scan for printers
Fills in IP and serial when possible. Needs the helper: python -m printhelper serve. Leave the subnet as this computer’s LAN, or change it (e.g. 192.168.5.0/24). Same-LAN scans also listen for SSDP.
Helper not running. In a terminal: python -m printhelper serve, then Scan again.
Windows: download the meshcore helper (unsigned; SmartScreen may warn). Double-click it, or in a terminal run python -m printhelper serve.
Add CNC machine
Saved with gwiz (/api/machines), not in printers.json. Travels are inches, feed and rapids are IPM, spindle power is HP, speeds are RPM, weight is pounds, acceleration is g. Built-in machines are read-only.

Why can't the page reach my printer?
This page sends the file straight from your browser to the printer's own API, so two browser rules apply:
- CORS: the printer server must allow this site. Moonraker: add
cors_domains: https://spinstop.comunder[authorization]in moonraker.conf. OctoPrint: Settings > API > Allow Cross Origin Resource Sharing (CORS), then restart. - Mixed content: browsers block an
https://page from calling a plainhttp://address on your LAN. Most printers only speak http, so this is often the blocker; the meshcore helper (python -m printhelper run, see docs/PRINT.md) does not have this limit. Meanwhile use Download file and upload it in the printer's web page. - Bambu Lab printers have no open web API; they need the meshcore helper or Bambu Studio / Bambu Connect.
